While this race is a true 5k, it will also have some elements that offer an interactive insight into the life of a child traveling through the child welfare system. Join us as we experience the reality of foster care and come together as a community to bring about change!</p> <p>There will be interactive stations leading up to the start line that you will be able to visit from 8-9 am, as well as two water stations during the race. Our 5k race for all ages will begin at 9 am and be timed by both male and female divisions per age category.</p> <p>Following the race, there will be an awards ceremony at 10:15 am with prizes for the race winners in each age category. Each runner will receive their time via text from Queen City Timing.</p> <p>If your business, church, or nonprofit is interested in sponsorship or vendor tables we encourage all participation by the community.</p> <p>We are better together!</p>
