Fast Before the Feast 5K Race Information

<p><strong>Ferguson Cares </strong>and<strong> Peninsula Track Club</strong> present the <strong>Fast Before the Feast 5K. </strong>This popular event is back and held on Thanksgiving Day. The out and back course is run on the scenic roads of Mariners&#39; Museum Park. <strong>Race day participation will be capped at 800</strong>. There is no limit for the virtual race. Race proceeds will benefit the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank. Your participation and optional donations will help those in need. </p> <p><strong>Ferguson Virtual Option</strong><br />Ferguson associates, family and friends can participate in this event virtually by registering and running or walking wherever they are Thanksgiving week. All virtual registrants will receive a Fast Before the Feast race shirt in December, and each registration still contributes 50 meals to families facing food insecurity. Associates can also register for the in-person Fast Before the Feast 5K on Thanksgiving in Newport News, VA.</p> <p>To guarantee a shirt in your size for the in-person race, sign up by <strong>November 7, 2025.</strong> The race does fill up and <b>THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. </b>Deadline for the virtual race is <b>November 27, 2025</b> with no registration limit.</p> <p><strong>If you are unable to participate, please consider making a donation to the Foodbank or Feeding America at the link above.</strong></p>
