The Races: Whether you're a seasoned runner or a leisurely walker, there's a perfect path for everyone. Runners will be challenged on a 5K route that starts at the Harrisville Park Bowery, winds past the new Family Promise building, and then returns to the city park. Walkers will enjoy a relaxed one-mile scenic route that also begins and ends at the Bowery. Children under 12 years can test their running legs on their own one-mile fun run. (see route maps below)
Friendly volunteers, water stations, and first aid personnel will be available throughout the course to keep everyone safe, hydrated, and encouraged.
After the Races: Cross the finish line to cheering volunteers, enjoy music and refreshments, browse the silent auction, and celebrate a great morning with friends and neighbors.
Meet Favorite Children's Movie Characters! Movie characters will mingle during the kids' 1-mile race, cheering for the runners. At 9:30, they'll line up for a meet-and-greet. Bring your camera for a fun photo to remember the race by! (Thanks to Besst Realty and Weber High Drama department for providing this)
