<p><i><b>Join us in historic Laurel, MD on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025 for the Emancipation Day 5K! </b></i></p> <p>13th Annual Emancipation Day Diabetes 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Walk - Run or Walk, Live or Virtual</p> <p>For the benefit of University of Maryland&#39;s <i><b>Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology-Midtown</b></i></p> <p>The University of Maryland Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology-Midtown serves children and adults with diabetes in Baltimore City, the surrounding counties and the region. We offer the highest quality of care and service to assist people with diabetes in managing the disease and preventing complications. Annually, the Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology sees over 3,000 patients, including those with Type 1, Type 2, or gestational diabetes.</p> <p>5K Run/Walk and the 1 Mile Fun Walk are $25.00 per person. Registration includes custom race bib and race medal. </p> <p>Results will be available on-line immediately after the race, awards presented on site for overall and age groups</p> <p>Can&#39;t make it on race day? Sign up for our Virtual Option!  We will mail your race bib and finisher medal (shipping cost included for Virtual Racers). </p> <p>This event is rain or shine and no refunds will be offered.  Our event is professionally timed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing</p> <p> </p>
