Dr. Kelsea Monet Randolph Memorial Sickle Cell Walk

Kannapolis, North Carolina

3 Miles

Organizer's Description

Walk with us. Remember with us. Fight with us.

In every step, we carry the story of Dr. Kelsea Monet Randolph, who bravely battled Sickle Cell Disease until her passing in 2017—just thirteen days after her 25th birthday. Kelsea’s journey was marked by determination, compassion, and an unshakable spirit. Despite the challenges
she faced, Kelsea completed nearly every requirement at Hampton University’s School of Pharmacy and was awarded her Doctorate of Pharmacy. Her perseverance and dedication continue to inspire us, fueling our mission to honor her legacy and advocate for everyone
affected by Sickle Cell Disease.

This 3-mile walk is more than a tribute—it’s a call to action. An estimated 100,000 Americans live with Sickle Cell Disease. Together, we can push for greater awareness, research, and a cure.  Proceeds from this event will benefit Sickle Cell Partners of the Carolinas, supporting local families, advocacy, and education. Every step we take honors Kelsea’s memory and supports the fight against sickle cell.

Register by Monday, September 15, 2025, to secure your spot in this movement. The first 100 participants to register will receive a commemorative T-shirt—helping us create a powerful sea of matching shirts and shared purpose so our message cannot be missed. Your $25 registration includes participation in the walk/run, and whether or not you are among the first 100, your presence matters. Every step you take is a visible statement of solidarity, helping raise awareness, advocacy, and hope for a cure.
