Dirt in Your Shoe Events weekend featuring: Duathlon, Kids Duathlon & Adventure Race Race Information

<p><strong>Kids Duathlon starts at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday March 1st.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Terry Proko Memorial run/bike Clinic (Duathlon)</strong></span></p> <p>Early in January we found out my dad had cancer.  I couple weeks later he passed away.</p> <p>My dad was a huge supporter when I was racing and played a big part  in the production of the Dirt in your Shoe and Brick House events making the finisher medals, awards and managing the post-race food.</p> <p> </p> <p>In his memory, we are offering a memorial Duathlon.  This will be sanctioned as a USA Triathlon clinic and not a race… but you can go fast if you want.</p> <p>The course will be lightly marked with the Dirt in Your Shoe Run/Bike/Run course and available to ride from 11:00 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday, February 28th and Sunday, March 1st from 8:00:-10:30 a.m.  You may come and ride/run as much of the course as you like during those time frames.  </p> <p>Sunday, at noon we will offer a 9:00 a.m. start for those wanting to have a meeting time and go together.   This was the original Duathlons time.  </p> <p>This event will only have the basics (restrooms, water) and won’t have any awards, food, shirt.  It is simply meant to let you enjoy the property and keep the spirit of the Dirt in Your Shoe Duathlon alive.   </p> <p>Entry fee covers the $10 land use fee and helps cover the cost of hosting the kids race.</p>
