The DFW Summer Series presented by Sun &amp; Ski Sports! </strong></h2> <p> </p> <p>The DFW Summer Series is an annual favorite for all mountain bikers in North Texas. Whether cycling, hiking, skiing, or any outdoor sport Sun &amp; Ski Sports can get you geared out for adventure.  Thank you Sun &amp; Ski Sports for supporting local, accessible and family friendly racing in DFW! </p> <p> </p> <h4><strong>Format</strong></h4> <p>Races will be mass start on a short track course of 2.7 miles in length. Most categories will do multiple laps of the course. Erwin Park is our classic short track course with plenty of variety throughout. Wide open fields will test your top speed, tight and twisty tree gates and roots will challenge handling skills. There are drops in some places and all riders should be familiar and comfortable with the features included. </p> <p>All AGES are calculated based on the participant age at the end of the year (12/31/2025). This is done so that all participants will race within the same category or age bracket for the full series. </p> <p> </p> <h4><strong>Start Times</strong></h4> <ul><li>Juniors - 6:00pm</li><li>Women - 6:30pm</li><li>Men, Singlespeed and Ebike - 7:15pm</li></ul> <p> </p> <h4><strong>Registration Fees</strong></h4> <p>Registration fee schedule is as follows:</p> <p><strong>Adults</strong></p> <ul><li>$30 - Preregistration period Adult 14 years &#43;</li><li>$40 - Late Registration period Adult 14 years &#43; </li></ul> <p><strong>Juniors</strong></p> <ul><li>$20 - Preregistration period Junior under 13</li><li>$30 - Late Registration period Junior under 13<br /> </li></ul> <h4> </h4> <h4><strong>Course Map</strong></h4> <p>The 2024 DFW Summer Series presented by Sun &amp; Ski Sports will race on an event only short track course starting and ending at the Hilltop Pavillion.
