<h2><span style="color:#07078e">DELLINGER DASH 3K <i>and </i>&#34;Lake Lap&#34; for Kids</span></h2> <h2><b><span style="color:#07078e">Thursday evening, August 7, 2025</span></b></h2> <h2><span style="color:#07078e">7:00 PM</span></h2> <p>Ever wonder just how fast you could run 1 lap around the Dellinger Park&#39;s vita course if you really tried?  Well this is your event!</p> <p>Please plan to join us<b> </b>for the 6th.  Annual Running of the Dellinger Dash!  Produced in conjunction with the Cartersville Parks &amp; Recreation Department, <i>Wire2Wire Running</i> has made this an annual event at this beautiful park.</p> <p>Register today and find out...just how fast you can make it one time around the Dellinger Park Loop! </p> <p><b>        MEN&#39;S COURSE RECORD</b>: 10:01.1  Cameron Bensley, Powder Springs, GA  (2024)</p> <p>       <strong>WOMEN&#39;S COURSE RECORD</strong>: 11:57.8  Kelly Ann Sutterfield, Euharlee, GA  (2022)</p> <p>       <strong>MALE MASTERS COURSE RECORD</strong>: 11:33.1  Ryan Shrum, Chickamauga, GA  (2021)</p> <p>       <strong>FEMALE MASTERS COURSE RECORD</strong>: 12:55.8  Sherry Spinks, Cartersville, GA  (2020)</p> <p>For the little ones not wanting to run the entire park loop, we have the &#34;Lake Lap&#34; which circles Dellinger Park&#39;s iconic pond!  This adorable race is Super-Cool to watch, so make sure your little ones don&#39;t miss out on this summer-time fun!! </p> <ul><li>Both races start-and-finish adjacent to Dellinger Park’s duck pond. </li><li>Proceeds go to help benefit area school running programs through Wire2Wire Running&#39;s <i>Shoes4Kids</i> Program. </li><li>The Dellinger Dash is exactly one (1) complete loop around the park, including the small hill up to the pool. The full loop is 3K or just shy of 2 miles.</li></ul> <p>For our younger participants (8 &amp; Under), the ‘Lake Lap’ is designed as a fun run of one (1) lap around Dellinger’s duck pond and is 450 meters, or a tad over a quarter-mile.  ALL registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt for this annual event! </p> <p><b>A W A R D S</b></p> <p>   <b><span style="color:#169179"><u><i>Dellinger Dash 3K</i></u></span></b></p> <p>Overall: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, (Male &amp; Female)</p> <p>Masters: 1st place award (Male &amp; Female)</p> <p>Age Groups: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals (Male &amp; Female) will be awarded for the 3K in the following age group categories:</p> <p>        (10&amp;U, 11-14, 15-19, 2-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70&amp;O)</p> <p>  <i> <b><span style="color:#2dc26b">&#39;</span></b></i><b><span style="color:#2dc26b"><u><i>Lake Lap&#39; for Kids</i></u></span></b></p> <p>ALL the little ones earn a medal for completing the Lake Lap! </p> <p><b>P A R K I  N G </b></p> <p>Ample parking is available throughout Dellinger Park at 100 Pine Grove Rd.
