Death By A Mile kicks off at <strong>8:00 AM </strong>and doesn’t stop until there’s only one man and one woman left standing. If you can’t—or won’t—finish your mile in the given time window, you’re out. Prizes go to the final male and female standing.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>Space is limited to the first 50 people who register—don’t wait!</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14pt">The Format:</span></strong><br /> </p> <p>It’s just one mile.... Right?</p> <ul><li><strong>8:00 AM – 10:00 AM</strong>: Run 1 mile every <strong>30 minutes</strong></li><li style="line-height:2"><strong>10:00 AM – 12:00 PM</strong>: Run 1 mile every <strong>20</strong> minutes</li><li style="line-height:2"><strong>12:00 PM – 2:00 PM:</strong> Run 1 mile every <strong>15</strong> minutes</li><li style="line-height:2"><strong>2:00 PM – 4:00 PM:</strong> Run 1 mile every <strong>12</strong> minutes</li><li style="line-height:2"><strong>4:00 PM – 6:00 PM:</strong> Run 1 mile every <strong>10</strong> minutes</li><li style="line-height:2"><strong>6:00 PM until</strong>… Run 1 mile every <strong>8 minutes</strong> until only two runners remain (one man and one woman)<br /> </li></ul> <p><span style="font-size:14pt"><strong>Course Info:</strong></span><br /> </p> <p>The loop starts and ends at the <strong>large pavilion near the boardwalk</strong> at Sam Houston Park. The course will be clearly marked with flags.
