<p style="line-height:1.2"><strong>Join us on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area for the 7th Annual Colorado Run for the Fallen</strong>—an up to 6-hour<strong> </strong>untimed run/walk/ruck hosted by the Honor and Remember – Colorado Chapter. This moving tribute honors over 450 Colorado military service members who made the ultimate sacrifice since the start of the Global War on Terror.</p> <p style="line-height:1.2"><strong>Event Overview:</strong></p> <p style="line-height:1.2">This is not a race—there are no chips, no clocks, and no pressure. <strong>Participants are not required to participate for a specific amount of time.</strong> Whether you move 1 mile or all 6 hours, your presence honors a fallen hero. Each mile is dedicated to an individual service member, with their name, rank, and date of loss read aloud, followed by a ceremonial salute.</p> <p style="line-height:1.2">“Every step we take, every name we speak, is a promise to never forget.” – George Lutz, Founder of Honor and Remember</p> <p style="line-height:1.2"><strong>All participants receive an event t-shirt</strong>. Please contact the race director for details.</p> <p style="line-height:1.2"><strong>Volunteers &amp; Core Runners:</strong></p> <p style="line-height:1.2">Volunteers are essential—check the volunteer tab to get involved.<br />Core Runners help carry memorial flags throughout the entire event and participate in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
