Christmas Lane 5k Race Information

<p>If you are looking for a unique 5k run/walk this year, THIS IS IT! Every December since the 1970&#39;s residents on &#34;Christmas Lane/R street&#34; in Thomaston, Ga transform their homes and yards into a magical wonderland with twinkling lights and Christmas decorations galore. Participants will begin and finish at Silvertown Baptist Church and travel down Christmas Lane as well as go thru the Greatest Generation Park and the historic Silvertown subdivision while surrounded by the sights and sounds of Christmas. We hope that you will join us for our annual holiday tradition and that this tradition will become yours as well! Proceeds of the race will benefit the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce.</p> <p>Race Day Registration<br />We will have race day registration from 3:00-5:00 pm. If you register race day you will have to check after the race to see if we have any extra shirts. </p> <p>Student Discount<br />We are offering a student discount for all students age 11-18. Please use code Student20 at checkout for a 20% discount!</p> <p>Children 10 and under will have $30 registration option not to be combined with the student discount code. Use code Child30 for children 10 and under. </p> <p>Awards<br />Top 3 male and female overall awards will be given as well as top male and female masters awards and top 3 male and female in each age group. Age groups will be 10 and under,11-14 15-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70-79, and 80&#43;.</p> <p>Long Sleeve T-shirt<br />This year swag will be a long sleeve t-shirt! The t-shirt deadline is November21st.</p> <p>Post Race Meal<br />Immediately following the race the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce will be serving homemade veggie soup as well as hot chocolate, and coffee. So feel free to stay and hang out after you finish and find out if you won an age group award.</p>
