<p>Join us for our Inaugural Chocolate Chase where fitness and Craniofacial awareness converge in the most delicious way! Whether you participate in the timed 5K race, one-mile walk, kids dash or just come out to celebrate and support, we will have something for everyone. Best of all--chocolate treats!   Post-race venue in Crocker Park will provide an opportunity for families and friends to connect.  Funds raised will be donated to <a title="Faces of Tomorrow" href="http://FacesOfTomorrow.org" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FacesOfTomorrow.org</a>.  </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>EVENT SWAG:</strong></p> <p>-Short-sleeved cotton t-shirt for race registrants</p> <p>-Shirt or cape for superhero dash registrants </p> <p>-Commemorative medal for race and dash finishers</p> <p>-See&#39;s chocolate bar at the finish line compliments of Elk Grove Orthodontics</p> <p>-Referral bonus for referring 5 or more registrants: embroidered logo canvas shopper tote </p> <p>-Age group awards for 5K</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>PACKET PICK UP: </strong></p> <p>-Saturday May 17: 10-6pm (Fleet Feet, 2311 J Street)</p> <p>-Race Day Sunday May 18, 7:15am Crocker Park</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>RACE DAY SCHEDULE:</strong></p> <p>7:15am Packet pick up and event day registration</p> <p>8:15am: Superhero Kids Dash start</p> <p>8:30am: 5K and one mile run/walk start</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>5K COURSE INFORMATION:</strong></p> <p>Start in front of Crocker Art Museum, along Riverfront Promenade through Old Sacramento, along river to Robert Matsui Water Park and back.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>AWARDS FOR 5K:</strong></p> <p>Top male and female finisher in each age category will be recognized.  (12 and under, 13-17, 18-21, 22-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80&#43;). Awards may be picked up at the awards tent at the post-race venue. If you are unable to pick up your award on race day, please email <a href="mailto:ChocolateChase916&#64;gmail.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ChocolateChase916&#64;gmail.com</a>. Awards will not be mailed. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>STROLLERS &amp; DOGS:</strong><br />Strollers are permitted in the race. We just ask that you and your bundle of joy start the race in the back of the pack. No scooters, bikes, skates, skateboards on the course. </p> <p>We love dogs, but only service dogs are allowed on the course.  All other dogs are not allowed to participate, but stop by the Cleft Pup Brigade rescue for your four-legged fix!</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>GETTING HERE:</strong> </p> <p>Crocker Park is located at 211 O Street in downtown Sacramento, steps from the Capitol Mall and the Riverfront Promenade.</p> <p>-By Car: Parking is conveniently located at City Lot X at 2nd and N Street for $5.  The lot is accessible via 3rd Street, turning right onto N Street. (Follow parking signs.) Two- and three-hour metered street parking is available around Crocker Park. Check parking signage for prices. Pay with card or download the ParkMobile app to find and pay for parking.  </p> <p>-By Bicycle: Bike racks are located around the Crocker Art Museum&#39;s main entrance. </p> <p>-Public Transportation  Closest light rail stops are 7th Street &amp; Capitol and 8th &amp; K Street.  YoloBus 42B makes stops within walking distance at Capitol Mall &amp; Front Street and Capitol Mall and 7th Street.
