Chimpathon 5K & 10K

Join us on Saturday, February 21st, 2025, at Save the Chimps for the 11th Annual Chimpathon 5K/10K! This race will be chip-timed with a flat and fast course starting & finishing at the sanctuary!

Runners and walkers will have the unique opportunity to travel the perimeter of the Save the Chimps Sanctuary, home to over 220 rescued Chimpanzees! 

Awards will be given to top finishers and all participants will receive a finisher medal and performance shirt.

* Runners and walkers are strongly encouraged to arrive at the Sanctuary no later than 7:30am * 
Packet Pickup will be available at the Sanctuary starting at 7:00am and will close at 7:45am. All participants are encouraged to collect their race packets prior to race day.

* No animals permitted as they may disturb the chimps *

Race Day

We recommend picking up your packet in advance at the above locations; however, if you are unable to race day packet pickup will be available near the starting line from 7:00am - 7:45 am. 

In order to care and prepare the chimps, the sanctuary will not be open for vehicle parking until 7am. Some traffic is expected and our team will work diligently to park everyone quickly, efficiently, and safely. For this reason, all participants are strongly encouraged to pick up their race day materials in advance of race day.
