- FULL EVENT INFORMATION: The East China Educational Foundation proudly offers the 15th annual Chili-heart 5K run / 2 Mile walk on Saturday, February 7, 2026 - Registration 8:00-8:50am, race from 9:00am-10:30am. Additionally, the East China Educational Foundation is proud to add a CHILI COOK-OFF from 9:30am-11:00am, as part of the event.
- CHILI-HEART 5K Run / 2-Mile Walk: Runners ($25 in 2025 or $30 after January 1, 2026) or Walkers ($25) are welcome as REGISTRATION is NOW OPEN! The event will all take pace at St. Clair River Elementary School (formerly St. Clair Middle School) on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The address is 4335 Yankee Road, St. Clair MI 48079. Registration & Packet Pick-up is from 8:00-8:45am, race starting at 9:00am, awards at ~10:20am. Virtual participants/donors can pick up their t-shirt & participatory medal on Friday, February 6 (3:30-5:00pm at St. Clair River Elementary School. No awards are given to virtual participants/donors, but we appreciate your commitment and registration! - CHILI-HEART CHILI COOK-OFF: Registration is now open to COMPETE IN ($25) or ATTEND ($15) the event. Competitors please just bring your LARGE CROC POT of chili, extension cord for power, a surge protector and serving spoon. Arrive on Saturday, February 7, 2025 at St. Clair River Elementary School between 8:30-9:30am to set-up in the cafeteria for this event. A table, cups for your chili, and utensils will be provided by ECEF. ATTENDEES are encouraged to attend to taste test the chili from 9:30-11:00am. Voting will end at 10:45am and then awards will be given out thereafter. The event officially ends at 11:00am.
