About Children of Valor: The story of Operation Healing Hearts

In 2024, we followed Team One Mile, a group of Civilians, Veterans and professional athletes as they biked  700 miles throughout the state of Wisconsin as they tried to raise $100,000 dollars for Camp Hometown Heroes, a free week-long overnight summer camp for children and siblings of fallen U.S. Service members.

In 2025 we will be following the team again as they set out on a goal to raise even more money for Camp Hometown Heroes and Operation Guardian Angel. 

This film will tell the story of Team One Miles journey throughout those two years. It will include not only the team’s story but also the stories of the individual team mates and how this mission is so important to them. Although cycling is a part of this film, the main story is bringing awareness to these families and children.
