Bring your Valentine and join us for a day full of fun, fitness, and furry friends. This year, The Block and Kanine Social are proud to host the 5th annual Chasing Tails 5K in partnership with the Valentine Fun Run, in support of the Jacksonville Humane Society.</p> <p>This event is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your dog to run or walk alongside you. If your pup prefers to sit out the race, they can enjoy The Block&#39;s private dog park with a friend while you participate.</p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 )"><strong>New Features for 2026</strong></span><br />For the first time, we are offering a runners-only wave to kick off the race. This is perfect for those aiming for a personal record, as the open course provides a great opportunity to reach your goals without your dog. Both courses will start and finish at The Block, with a well-laid-out course.</p> <p><span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 )"><strong>Race Timing and Scoring</strong></span><br />All winners will be determined based on chip time. Each participant will receive an official chip time, calculated from the moment they individually cross the start line to their finish.</p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb( 224 , 62 , 45 )">Post-Race After Party</span></strong><br />Be sure to stick around after the race for our lively after party! Enjoy live music, browse local vendors, and sample delicious fare from local vendors.
