Carrollton Half Marathon Race Information

<p>Get ready for the 7th year of the Carrollton Half Marathon and Relay!  <br /><br />Seeing the sunrise on Lake Carroll and finishing on a flat stretch of roadway makes for a memorable new course. <br /><br />We are also happy to continue our loyalty rewards with anyone who completes 5 years of running the Carrollton Half. We hope to keep this program going by honoring other milestones, such as 10 years and many more!  So...keep the tradition by signing up each year.<br /><br />All race proceeds benefit <a href="https://www.carrolltongreenbelt.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Carrollton Greenbelt </a>and <a href="https://www.cfwg.net/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Community Foundation of West Georgia</a>. This foundation helps fund many projects in the Carrollton and Carroll County area.</p> <h3>Race Day Schedule</h3> <p>National Anthem: 7:00 am<br />Push Chair Start: 7:10 am<br />Race Start: 7:15 am</p> <h3>Description</h3> <p>The Half Marathon’s 13.1-mile course starts at Adamson Square and then takes runners through the city, past Lake Carroll, and along the shaded, rolling hills of the Carrollton GreenBelt. The route finishes back at Adamson Square with a festival featuring music, entertainment, food, and drinks. Individual or relay team registration includes a Carrollton Half Marathon t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and free food and drink tickets for the post-race festivities.</p> <h3>Awards</h3> <p>SoleRoots Running Co. will present awards for the half-marathon. Cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall Male and Female runners. They will also receive a commemorative gift. The top three males and females in the Masters category will be presented with a commemorative gift. The top 3 in each age group and the top 3 teams in the relay categories will receive the commemorative gift as a prize.
