<h5><strong>Capital City Activity Center Seniors Shine 3K Run/Walk</strong><br /><strong>Lakeview Park – Frankfort, KY</strong><br /><strong>Saturday, September 13, 2025</strong></h5> <p>Come out and join us for a fun morning at Lakeview Park for the Seniors Shine 3K Run/Walk — a relaxed, family-friendly event that supports the Capital City Activity Center and all the great work they do for local seniors.</p> <p><strong>Event Schedule:</strong><br />Free Kids Dash – kicks off at 8:15 AM (open to kids 10 &amp; under)<br />3K Run/Walk – starts at 8:30 AM</p> <p><strong>Registration Info:</strong><br />$35 if you sign up by August 29 you’ll get a FREE race t-shirt!<br />$45 on race day<br /><br /></p> <p><strong>Packet Pickup:</strong><br />Race day only – starting at 7:30 AM right at Lakeview Park.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Learn about the Capital City Activity Center</strong></p> <p>Capital City Activity Center/Meals on Wheels of Greater Frankfort is the senior citizen center in Frankfort, Kentucky. We have a commercial kitchen to make daily hot lunches for homebound seniors, as well as Center members. We offer educational, exercise and social programs for people 60&#43;. We also offer field trips to local historical and fun sites. Our two buses are vital to our senior community to help them stay independent longer. We are donation funded. Our race proceeds are to benefit the seniors in our community to provide a place to make countless memories with friends. </p>
