<p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>About This Event:</strong></span></p> <p>Kick off the holiday season by joining us for our fifth year and helping with a great cause*.  Gather your family, friends, neighbors, classmates and co-workers; don your ugliest sweaters or dress up as elves and reindeer; deck yourselves in blinking holiday lights and come run/walk the Candy Cane 5K!  This is a rain, shine, or snow event.  Catch the sounds, sights, and lights of the season as you travel this relatively flat road race through Stevensville&#39;s subdivisions and downtown area.  Fun for all ages and abilities.  Dogs on leashes and strollers welcome.</p> <p>*Net proceeds to benefit St. Paul&#39;s Lutheran School&#39;s Scholarship Fund.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Event Locations:</strong></span></p> <ul><li>Early Packet Pickup - Friday, December 5th, 6:00-8:00 pm &#64; St. Paul&#39;s Lutheran School Gym (2673 W. John Beers Rd., enter from lower lot)</li><li>Race Day Registration - Same Day registrations from 7:45-8:45 am.  $35 Late Registration Fee</li><li>Race Time - 9:00 am, &#64; St. Paul’s Lutheran School</li></ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Registration Fees:</strong></span></p> <ul><li>Registration Pricing - $ 30.00* walk or run.  Early Pre-Registration must be completed on-line this year by Thursday, December 4th, 11:59 pm EST.  *There is a small service charge. </li><li><b>After Thursday, December 4th (11:59 pm) Registration fees will increase to $35.00</b></li><li>The Refund Policy tab states that there are no refunds for this race.  While this is true, if the race would unfortunately need to be cancelled due to a state mandate effective at the time of the race, participants will be contacted and given three reimbursement options.</li></ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Tee Shirts:</strong></span></p> <p>To be guaranteed a tee shirt, participants must register before Nov. 16, 2025.  Extra tee shirts will be ordered but will be available on a &#34;First Come, First Served&#34; basis.</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Age Divisions and Awards:</strong></span></p> <ul><li>Overall Male and Overall Female</li><li>Age Division Awards (Male and Female) - 12 and Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60&#43;*.</li><li><strong>*NEW THIS YEAR BY POPULAR DEMAND: </strong>Registration discount for racers 70&#43;. If we receive enough registrations, we will open a 70&#43; race category for male and female racers! </li><li>Awards will be given in the gym at St. Paul&#39;s and enjoy time out of the cold before announcing the winners.  </li><li>Awards for Best Christmas Apparel! </li></ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Timing and Scoring:</strong></span></p> <p>Timing and scoring will be done by Mac&#39;s Sports Timing using ChronoTrack technology. Participant Times will be available on RunSignUp LIVE during the race and results will be posted during the event for participants to view.</p>
