Candy Cane 5K Run

About This Event:

Kick off the holiday season by joining us for our fifth year and helping with a great cause*.  Gather your family, friends, neighbors, classmates and co-workers; don your ugliest sweaters or dress up as elves and reindeer; deck yourselves in blinking holiday lights and come run/walk the Candy Cane 5K!  This is a rain, shine, or snow event.  Catch the sounds, sights, and lights of the season as you travel this relatively flat road race through Stevensville's subdivisions and downtown area.  Fun for all ages and abilities.  Dogs on leashes and strollers welcome.

*Net proceeds to benefit St. Paul's Lutheran School's Scholarship Fund.

• Early Packet Pickup - Friday, December 5th, 6:00-8:30 pm @ St. Paul's Lutheran School Gym (2673 W. John Beers Rd., enter from lower lot)
• Race Day Packet Pickup - Saturday, December 6th, 7:45-8:45 am @ St. Paul's Lutheran School Gym (2673 W. John Beers Rd., enter from lower lot)
• Race Starts and Finishes at the St. Paul’s Lutheran School

• Race Day Registration - Same Day registrations from 7:45-8:45 am.  $35 Late Registration Fee
• Race Time - 9:00 am, @ St. Paul’s Lutheran School

Registration Fees:

• Registration Pricing - $ 30.00* walk or run.  Early Pre-Registration must be completed on-line this year by Thursday, December 4th, 11:59 pm EST.  *There is a small service charge. 
• After Thursday, December 4th (11:59 pm) Registration fees will increase to $35.00
• The Refund Policy tab states that there are no refunds for this race.  While this is true, if the race would unfortunately need to be cancelled due to a state mandate effective at the time of the race, participants will be contacted and given three reimbursement options.

Tee Shirts:

To be guaranteed a tee shirt, participants must register before Nov. 16, 2025.  Extra tee shirts will be ordered but will be available on a "First Come, First Served" basis.

Age Divisions and Awards:

• Overall Male and Overall Female
• Age Division Awards (Male and Female) - 12 and Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
• This year we will meet in the gym at St. Paul and enjoy time out of the cold before announcing the winners.  We will also be having a drawing for those who come in their ugly sweaters or Christmas  apparel .   Medals will be mailed to the winners who can not stay for the announcements. 

Timing and Scoring:

Timing and scoring will be done by Mac's Sports Timing using ChronoTrack technology. Participant Times will be available on RunSignUp LIVE during the race and results will be posted during the event for participants to view.
