Children under 14 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire course.</span></b></h4> <h4> </h4> <h3><span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#f26747"><b>The Course</b></span></h3> <h4><span style="color:#009e8d">The single-loop course begins in Leavenworth, KS. </span></h4> <h4><span style="color:#009e8d">Runners will head south through downtown Leavenworth, then towards the bluffs of the Missouri River, looping back past the start to tour the northern bluffs and high river views.</span><b></b></h4> <h3> </h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"><b><span style="color:#e67e23">Check In</span></b></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"><span style="color:#169179">Participants are encouraged to pick up their bibs and t-shirts on Friday Sept 26 at Camp Leavenworth from 5-8pm. Late registration will also be available at Friday check-in. </span></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"><span style="color:#169179">Race morning pickup begins at 8:30am at the start area.</span></span><span style="color:#1b4754"></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"><br /><b><span style="color:#e67e23">Parking</span></b><br /><span style="color:#169179">Downtown Leavenworth has several free lots within a block or two from the starting line. </span></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"> <br /><b><span style="color:#e67e23">Aid Stations</span></b><br /><span style="color:#169179">There will be two aid stations with water and Gatorade that you will pass twice, at approximately mile 1 and mile 2.25.</span></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"><br /><b><span style="color:#e67e23">Prizes</span></b><br /><span style="color:#169179">Our race will feature some local elite runners competing for prize money. We ask that walkers stay to the right of the course so that runners can easily pass. At start time, those who plan to run the course will start first, followed by those walking the course. The stroller division will start last.</span></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#169179"><br />Participants over 14 are eligible for age-group prizes, which will be awarded to the top three males and females in each age group: <br />14-18; 19-29; 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&#43;. The top male and female stroller runners also receive an award.</span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"><br /><b><span style="color:#e67e23">Kids and Families</span></b></span></h3> <h3><span style="color:#1b4754"><span style="color:#169179">Kids over the age of 14 may run on their own. Children under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times on the course. Strollers are welcome; stroller riders need not register (parent must register; child in stroller doesn&#39;t need to).</span></span></h3>
