<p>Join us for the 2nd Annual <strong>BUZZ, SWEAT &amp; TEARS 5K suppoting the Fort Mill High School Cross Country Team! </strong>This festive Halloween Themed fundraiser offers a fun and exciting event designed to bring our community together in support of a team boasting over 100 athletes between Gold Hill Middle, Pleasant Knoll Middle, Banks Trail Middle and Fort Mill High School! The Buzz Sweat &amp; Tears 5K Fundraiser event is perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels; walkers are welcome, but please leave your furry friends at home. </p> <p> </p> <p>The FMXC program provides a positive training environment with a reputation of success in personal athletic growth as well as championship titles. Fundraising enables us to avoid imposing mandatory fees for participants, keeping the program accessible to all; and helping to cover costs associated with expenses that ensure a safe, inclusive and positive experience (expenses include, but are not limited to, uniforms, travel fees, race registration fees, water coolers, sun shelters) !</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>DATE:</strong> Saturday October 25, 2025<br /><strong>START TIME:</strong> 3:30 Pm  (Check In 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM)<br /><strong>LOCATION:</strong> Fort Mill High School at Bob Jones Stadium<br /><strong>DISTANCE: </strong>5 kilometers (3.1 miles) / Kids Run (.5 mi)<br /><strong>COURSE:</strong> The course will be mostly paved, winding through the Fort Mill High School Campus.</p> <ul><li>We love our four legged friends, but please leave them home for the race!</li><li>Strollers are only permitted for registered event walkers, not for runners </li><li>The event will feature local vendors, food trucks, costume contest, kids run, kid activities and a trunk or treat for kids of registered runners or walkers! </li></ul> <p><strong>REGISTRATION:</strong></p> <p><strong>Early Bird Registration:</strong> $30 <em>(Until August 15)</em></p> <p><strong>Regular Registration:</strong> $35 <em>(August 16 - October 1)</em></p> <p style="line-height:2"><strong>*Late Registration</strong><em><strong>:</strong> $40 (October 2 - October 24 )                                                  </em><strong><em>*</em>Race Day Registration: </strong>$45<strong> </strong><em>(October 25) </em>                                                                                                                                           </p> <p><strong>Fun Run</strong> <strong>Half Mile</strong> <strong>10 &amp; Under</strong>: FREE</p> <p>*Commemorative t-shirts by size will be guaranteed to all those who register for the 5K walk or run by October 1st. </p> <p><strong>AWARDS:</strong><br />Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers<br />Top Finishers in Each Age Group (Male and Female: 11-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60&#43;)</p> <p> </p>
