About Bryson
Bryson was a 4th grade student at Linglestown Elementary School (LES) and a member of the class of 2033. Demonstrating compassion, patience, and maturity beyond his years, Bryson spent nearly all his free time volunteering as a Peer Buddy with students in the Multiple Disability Support classroom at LES. Outside of school he was a dedicated athlete, and poured his energy into competitive cheer with 717 Athletics and Little League with the Linglestown Baseball Association.
On June 11, 2025, Bryson played an incredible championship game, securing the win for his LBA Minors Colts team with multiple hits, RBIs, and three strong innings pitched to end the game. His greatest moment came after - when he immediately consoled the opposing team, the LBA Minors Hawks. He gave them hugs, encouraged them, and stood arm-in-arm in photos before joining his own team to celebrate. Bryson’s personality, thoughtfulness, and sportsmanship touched everyone on the field.
The very next day, on June 12, Bryson passed away from sudden cardiac arrest. He was 10 years old.
The Scholarship
To carry forward Bryson’s legacy, the LES PTO has established a scholarship in his name.
- Two annual scholarships of $324 each, beginning with this academic year and continuing at least through 2033.
- The amounts honor Bryson’s beloved baseball jersey numbers, #3 and #24.
