<p>Experience the magic of the holidays with a FREE family-friendly winter lights tour through Downtown and Historic Brunswick!<br />Bike Walk Golden Isles has partnered with the Brunswick Downtown Development Authority and the Gullah Geechee BRAG Dream Team to create an unforgettable experience this holiday season. Meet at the Brunswick Old City Hall (1229 Newcastle St., downtown Brunswick, GA) at 4:30 PM to show proof of helmets, perform bike checks, and listen to safety instructions before heading off on this light-filled ride. Ride will begin at sunset (approximately 5:25 PM). </p> <p>Our casual 3.5-mile journey will take us through the lights of Downtown and Historic Brunswick, led by the BRAG Dream Team riders. After the ride, join us for cookies and hot cocoa at Brunswick Old City Hall (1229 Newcastle St., downtown Brunswick)!</p> <p>If weather forces a cancellation, we will e-mail registered participants and post on social media. </p> <p><strong>Helmets and bike lights required (NO EXCEPTIONS!) </strong>-- For those without this valuable equipment, Bike Safety and Helmet Education with Fitting will be provided by BWGI, sponsored by the GA Governor&#39;s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). Wear your reflective gear (and festive gear) for this spectacular event!</p> <p><strong>While this ride is FREE, all participants must be registered in advance, and tickets are limited.</strong> All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.</p> <p>Bike Walk Golden Isles is a Glynn County-based nonprofit working to make the Golden Isles safer and more accessible for those who cycle, walk, run and roll for transportation, fun and fitness. <br /> </p>
