Brighter Futures 5K Race Information

<p>Join us for our 8th annual Brighter Futures 5K on the Lancaster Junction Recreation Trail.</p> <p>All proceeds from the 5K directly support the <strong>Friends of Pam Reynolds Memorial Scholarship</strong>, part of Kids&#39; Chance of PA&#39;s named scholar partner program.</p> <p>This is a professional, chip-timed event on a crushed stone trail that is flat, shaded, and scenic. Bring your whole family and enjoy a wonderful morning out in the country! </p> <p><em>Race Amenities</em></p> <ul><li>Goody bag if pre-registered by 10/24</li><li>Door prizes (must be present to win)</li><li>Water station, restrooms and free parking</li><li>Pre-race coffee and post-race refreshment</li></ul> <p><em>5K In-Person Awards</em></p> <ul><li>1st Male/Female Overall Winners: $100</li><li>2nd Male/Female Overall Winners: $50</li><li>3rd Male/Female Overall Winners: $25</li></ul> <p>Recognition for top three male/female finishers in age groups: 19 &amp; under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70&#43;</p> <p>You must be present to receive your award--they will not be mailed.</p> <p><em>5K Race - Virtual Option</em></p> <p>Want to participate but can&#39;t make it on November 8th? Select the virtual option during registration. Virtual participants won&#39;t receive swag bags or awards, but if you submit your time by Monday, November 10th, you will be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift certificate.</p>
