<p>The 2026 Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run and Rock’n Around the Pier Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, July 18 with a 8:00 am start time. 2026 marks the 56th running of the Rock to Pier Run and the 12th running of the Half Marathon.</p> <p>The Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run is a 6 mile beach run from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier. The finish line is at the iconic Cayucos Pier. This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities.</p> <p>The Rock’n Around the Pier Half Marathon event begins at Morro Rock, continues to the Cayucos Pier, turn around and head back towards Morro Rock. At 10.5 miles the course will veer off the beach (through soft sand) and will follow a 1 mile loop through a local park returning to the beach (through soft sand) and finish at Morro Rock. Please note that the course will be closed at 12:00pm for runners. </p> <p>Parking is limited in Cayucos and all participants for the Rock to Pier Run are encouraged to return to Morro Bay via provided Bus transportation. There is plenty of parking at Morro Rock and nearby.
