Book It! Friends of the Waterford Library 5K Run Race Information

<p>Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026, for the Book It! 5K and Fun Run/Walk in support of the Waterford Township Public Library.  This family friendly event welcomes kids and pets. The 5K will feature timing with results posted online at (LINK).</p> <p><strong>5K Run starts at 10:00 AM </strong></p> <p><strong>5K Walk starts at 10:15 AM</strong></p> <p><strong> Fun Run/Walk start at 10:15 AM   </strong></p> <p>Entry fee includes a commemorative event t-shirt, finisher medal, a chance to win gifts from our sponsors and complimentary children&#39;s book for students. Price discounts available for the following:</p> <ul><li>Ages 18 and under - $5.</li><li>Groups of 5 or more: $5 discount for each member of the group. </li></ul> <p> <em><strong>NOTE: Register by Sunday, April 19, 2026, to guarantee a t-shirt and children&#39;s book as noted above. </strong></em></p> <p><em><strong>Onsite registration closes at 9:00 am May 2, 2026.</strong></em></p> <p>Packet pick-up will start at 9:00 am on race morning.  Check in will be at The Warming House, 5050 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, MI 48329.
