We&#39;ll be taking the shortest route to the top of Shafer Butte (the highest point in Boise), but shortest doesn&#39;t mean easiest! Interested in an extra dose of fun? Climb over 2,000 feet and reach the highest point in all of Boise! We believe in the outdoors being accessible to all people, even those that are new to the sport or only can train on flat terrain. This has directly helped with new trail projects in the Boise Foothills, including the new <a href="https://www.cityofboise.org/news/parks-and-recreation/2023/may/city-of-boise-expands-foothills-trail-offerings-with-opening-of-hawkins-range-reserve/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hawkins Reserve Trail. </a></p> <p>All 5 mile and 10 mile finishers receive a high quality Brooks t-shirt and a custom-designed medal. </p>
