Despite childhood cancer rates being on the rise, only 4% of US Federal Funding for Cancer Research goes to Pediatrics.
When Mason was 9 years old he was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His cancer was treated with chemotherapies that have been in use for decades, because there is a devastating lack of funding for new treatments with better outcomes!
For two years, Mason and his family used the slogan “Not Today Cancer'“ as their mantra and when he died from the disease, the journey continued and this local non-profit was founded in Mason's honor. Scientists are close to a cure to help children like Mason and you can help!
Packet Pick Up, where you can get your shirt and bib, on Saturday, the day before the race. Time and Location TBD.
If you are having someone else pick up your bib, shirt, and bag, they will need two things. 1. A printed copy of your ID and 2. a printed signed copy of the waiver. You can download and print the waiver here. No bibs will be given out without this. The lawyers and our insurance company require us to be strict on this, sorry for any inconvenience.
Childcare is available during the race! 0-10 years old! Provided by Green Beginning PreSchool at the event site. Please sign up using THIS LINK
If you are unable to join us the day before, you can pick up your bib and shirt on race day in the festival area. We suggest you arrive early because there is often a long line of people picking up bibs and you don't want to miss the start of the race!
*Reminder: Please wear your bib on the front of your clothes so that your photos can be tagged and so we know you are with the event.*

Race Day Schedule
7:00 a.m. – Festival area opens to the public at El Rodeo School
8:15 a.m. - Warm Up / Group Photo
8:30 a.m. - 5K start
9:30am - Awards Ceremony
10:00 a.m. – 1K Kids Run start (Parents, if you want to run with your kids you must start at the back, let the kids going solo start first. Prizes for top 3 finishers who are 10 years old or younger.)
