<p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Alabama SWAT Foundation 5.56K Run Details</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Event: ASF 5.56K Run</span><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline">Location: Brocks Gap Brewing Company</span><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline">Date: March 8th, 2025</span><br /><span style="text-decoration:underline">Start Time: 4:00 PM – Race Begins at 6:00 PM</span><span style="text-decoration:underline"></span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Partial TRAIL Course at Sunset</span></p> <p><strong>Course Overview</strong></p> <p>Route: Starts at Brocks Gap Brewing Company, loops around Black Creek Mountain Bike Park, and finishes at the brewery.<br />Distance: 5.56k</p> <p><br /><strong>Participation Information</strong></p> <p>Open to Everyone: Limited to 300 runners for a quality event.<br />Age Requirement: 10 years and older.<br />Rain or Shine: The race will proceed regardless of weather.</p> <p><br /><strong>Divisions</strong></p> <p>Regular Division: Male &amp; Female (no extra weight)<br />Heavy Division: Male &amp; Female (must carry a 35 lb. vest/ruck)<br />Team Heavy Division: 4 individuals carrying 35 lb. vests/rucks, must finish together.</p> <p><br /><strong>Important Rules</strong></p> <p>Headlamp/Flashlight: Required for the nighttime trail run.<br />Weight Check: All vests and rucks will be weighed post-race. Failure to meet the 35 lb. requirement disqualifies you from awards.</p> <p>Team Registration: Teams can register separately but must cross the finish line together.</p> <p><br /><strong>Amenities</strong></p> <p>Parking: At Hoover Met only; no parking at Brocks Gap Brewing Company (except for handicapped). There is a path and stairs from the parking lot to the brewery.<br />Restrooms: Available at Brocks Gap Brewery and start line.<br />Water Station: One at the entrance to the trail, accessible when entering and exiting.</p> <p><br /><strong>Registration</strong></p> <p>Race limited to first 300 runners.  300 runners will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and koozie.</p> <p>Race Day Registration: Available but items are not guaranteed.</p> <p><strong>Bib and Bag Pick-Up</strong></p> <p>When: The night before (March 6th) from 5 to 8 PM at Brocks Gap Brewery, and on race day at 4 PM.<br />Bag Check: Available during the race.
