AIDSPIRIT USA Marathon Race Information

<p>Speedy race from the Little Belt mountains in Lewis &amp; Clark National Forest to Historic Harlowton MT. Start this race with epic views of the Crazy Mountains and finish with a complimentary hand-crafted pint from local Gally&#39;s Brewing Company. Race is entirely on leg-saving compacted gravel with 1800 feet of net decline. Gravel is super shoe friendly with calcium chloride treated hard pack for the majority of the run. </p> <p>This race is a fundraiser for AIDSPIRIT USA, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that has been providing orphaned, abandoned, or abused children in the Kayunga District of Uganda with a safe home, food, clothing, medicine, and most importantly, an education since 2009. Paid for and scheduled by a Sponsor of Aidspirit Marathon! Vacation Drawing is for Marathon and Half-Marathon participants only.</li></ol> <ul><li>Drawing will be completely random - based on bib number - regardless of finishing place.  </li><li>Drawing will take place immediately following finishing awards.</li><li>MUST be present to win. Excepting participants still on the course.</li><li>Awards must be booked with race director within 90 days </li></ul> <p><b>Parking and Shuttle</b></p> <ul><li>There will be a pre-race shuttle to the start, as well as a gear drop to be transported to finish</li><li>We encourage you to take the shuttle but there is a small amount of parking at the start if you cannot use the shuttle.</li></ul> <p><b>Camping and Lodging</b></p> <ul><li>Jellison Place campground is one mile from the start. There are 14 free developed sites and an outhouse (it is Labor Day weekend though and may be full).</li><li>At the start there are options on Lewis &amp; Clark Forest for dispersed (tent) camping.</li><li>Chief Joseph Park has great developed sites with hookups 1/2 mile from the finish</li><li>Country Side Inn </li><li>Corral Motel</li><li>The Barnsion</li></ul> <p><b>Shuttle/Bag Grab</b></p> <ul><li>Bag Grab will be from 4PM-8PM at Gally&#39;s Brewing, if traveling form out of town and unable to collect bag-remaining bags will be at the shuttles.</li><li>5:15 AM Full Marathon Shuttle Leaves</li><li>7:15 AM Half-Marathon Shuttle Leaves</li><li>8:15 10K Shuttle Leaves</li><li>5K starts and finishes at Gally&#39;s</li></ul> <p><b>Water/Aid Stations</b></p> <ul><li>Water Stations will be at miles 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 23, 25 of the Full Marathon</li><li>Miles 2, 5, 8, 10, 12 for the Half</li><li>Hammer Gel will be available for the Marathon at Miles 9, 15, 21</li><li>Half Marathon folks will have Hammer gel available at mile 8 (Mile 2 aid station gels are for Marathon participants only)</li><li>Poweraid/Gateraid will be available at miles 6, 12 and 23 of the marathon (Mile 10 of Half)</li></ul> <p> </p>
