7th Annual Megan's Ride and Walk 2025 Race Information

<p>                                                                      <strong>7th Annual </strong><span style="color:#000000"><b>Megan&#39;s Ride and Walk 2025 presented by Beacon Industries and </b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>                                                                                                          Fleming Interior Group</b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000"><b>                                                                      A bicycle ride and walk benefiting The Jackson Center for Conductive Education</b></span></p> <p><span style="color:#000000">The purpose of Megan&#39;s ride and walk is to bring together bike enthusiasts and families for a fun morning of bike riding and walking to celebrate and remember Megan Stancliffe.  Megan was a young woman who endured many physical challenges with grace throughout her short life.</span></p> <p><u><b>About Megan&#39;s Ride</b></u></p> <p>This year we are offering marked routes for a 20 and 50 mile bike ride and a route for a 5k walk.  </p> <p>All fees and donations from the event will benefit The Jackson Center for Conductive Education.  All participants who register before July 13, 2025 will receive a free t-shirt.                   </p> <p><u><b>Celebrating the amazing Megan </b></u>   </p> <p>The purpose of the ride and walk is to bring together bike enthusiasts and families for a fun morning of bike riding and walking to celebrate and remember Megan  Stancliffe. Megan was a young woman who endured many physical challenges with grace throughout her short life. Megan passed away at age 23 in July 2017    as a result of complications from cerebral palsy, which she contracted when she was only two weeks old. Despite the fact that Megan wasn&#39;t able to talk, endured many surgeries, and was confined to a wheelchair, she lived life with a spirit of adventure enjoying pastimes such as riding an adaptive bicycle, horseback riding, canoeing, and zip-lining. Participating in Megan&#39;s Ride and walk honors the memories of Megan and her positive spirit.</p> <p><u><b>Benefiting The Jackson Center for Conductive Education</b></u></p> <p>The Jackson Center for Conductive Education was founded by the Depoy family in 2005 and named for their son Jackson, who has cerebral palsy.  The Jackson Center is the only Conductive Education program in Indiana.  Conductive Education is a system of learning that improves motor skills to help children develop purposeful movement that leads to more independence in daily life activities.  The funds raised from this event will be used to continue to offer amazing services for our young children in our community.  Please visit us online at <span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 );text-decoration:underline">thejacksoncenter.org.</span></span></p> <p><u><b>Contact Information</b></u></p> <p>Contact event leader Abby Finn at (317) 503-8624 or email thejacksoncenter2005&#64;gmail.com</p> <p> </p>
