50th Annual Cross Country Summer Series at College of the Canyons, sponsored by Fleet Feet.
Races start on July 11 and run every Thursday through Aug. 15, 2024
About the Course:
A 3-mile cross country course beginning at the Cougar baseball Field and winding through the COC Valencia campus and surrounding hillsides, before concluding at Cougar Stadium.
Parking:
Free parking will be available in PARKING LOT 5.
Start Times:
The Kid K races start at 6:45pm in the Stadium, Main races start at 7 p.m. on the Baseball field and feature more than a dozen age divisions.
Entry Fees:
$10 per race.
$20 for the Aug.15 finale - includes dinner at conclusion of race.
$50 for a series card, which covers fees for all six races and dinner for the final race.
$2 for Kid's Race entry (includes participation ribbon).
$12 for Kid's Race Aug. 15 finale - includes dinner at conclusion of race.
$25 for a Kid's Race series card, which covers fees for all races and dinner for the final race.
In-Person Registration:
In-person registration will continue to be held at the finish line of the race in Cougar Stadium. All checks should be made out to SCCCD ASG with "Summer Cross Country Series" in the memo line.
T-Shirts:
T-shirts will be available to purchase at the race.
Age Divisions:
Male and Female - 10 and under, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69 and 70 and above.
Awards:
Awards will be given to the top three men and women in each age division after the conclusion of the last event on Aug. 15. You must have run a minimum of 2 of the first 5 races to qualify for awards at the final.
Results:
Chip timing results will be available online at this site and posted at race conclusion.
