<h5><strong>Hill and Dale 8 Miler</strong><br /><em>Presented by Memphis Runners Track Club</em></h5> <p><strong>Event Details</strong><br />Race Date: January 2, 2027<br />Start Time: 11:00 AM<br />Location: Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park</p> <p>Start 2027 off right with the Hill and Dale 8 Miler. This scenic course winds through the roads and paved paths of Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park, showcasing the hills and dales of one of Tennessee’s most beautiful parks.</p> <p>This is one of only a handful of USATF-certified 8-mile courses in Tennessee (Certificate #TN20013MS).</p> <p><strong>Registration</strong><br />NO race day registration onsite.</p> <p>Registration will remain open through race day, but must be completed on your own device before arriving.</p> <p>Register early to secure the lowest pricing!<br />Prices increase on December 24th.</p> <p><strong>Timing</strong><br />The race will be chip-timed (electronic timing) by the Memphis Runners Track Club.</p> <p><strong>Packet Pickup</strong><br />TBD<br />Race-day packet pickup will be available.</p> <p><strong>Directions</strong><br />Do NOT rely solely on GPS for exact race location.</p> <p>Take Hwy 51 (Thomas) to North Watkins heading west/north. Continue on North Watkins until it ends at Locke-Cuba Road. Turn LEFT and go approximately 0.7 miles to the 4-way stop at the General Store.</p> <p>Continue straight for approximately 1.6 miles to the park entrance. Turn RIGHT onto Grassy Lake Road. Continue straight inside the park for about 1 mile to reach the start/finish area.</p> <p>Registration will be located in the lodge at the far end of the parking lot on the left.</p> <p>Please allow extra time for travel, parking, and warm-up.
