We invite you to come out for the 25th Annual Hank Aaron State Trail 5k Run/Walk!
Saturday, August 9, 8:30am
All Event Activities and Parking in the Uecker Lot.
The Hank Aaron State Trail 5K attracts more than 1,500 people of all abilities and ages.
Join in this lively community family-friendly stroll OR for a Personal Record with Professional Chip Timing
Featuring: A Flat and Fast course, right in the heart of Milwaukee.
The course winds through the beautiful Three Bridges Park, through restored prairie. This route is steeped in history and located along Milwaukee's former rail and industrial corridor. The transformation continues!
Come out to support the Hank Aaron State Trail's largest fundraiser.
The after-party is one of the best around!
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
- All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt.
- Family-friendly, community event! Strollers welcome. Sorry, no dogs.
- Prizes for teams and top 3 male and female runners in fifteen age categories.
- Live DJ music
- Complimentary Coffee, Tea & Goodies before.
- Ice Cream, Burgers & Treats after.
- Proceeds benefit the trail and send kids to Bike Adventure Camp each summer!
- Race Results Ceremony! Race results are available immediately online on the day of the event

Race proceeds support all major initiatives of The Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail, including:
- Sending kids to Bike Adventure Camp each summer
- Stew Crews that keep the trail clean from spring through fall
- Art and maintenance along the trail such as our most recent project, the People of the Road Monument.
The restoration of the trail and adjacent areas has provided green space for recreation, wildlife habitat, and improved ecology. Altogether, the Hank Aaron State Trail is a unique destination and undeniable community asset for all to enjoy.

Supporting a great cause is more fun with friends! Pull together a group of 8+ from work, high school, bike club, church, neighborhood .. and register your TEAM today!

Family & Stroller Friendly Event
The HAST 5K is a family-friendly community event with runners and walkers of all ages. You don’t have to be a runner to participate – you are most welcome to walk the course and strollers are most welcome! We do ask that strollers cue up at the back of the group. If you are not interested in your time, please choose the “UNTIMED" 5K Event.
