2026 YWCA 5K

YWCA Northeast Indiana's annual Race for Equality provides an opportunity for the community to come together in solidarity for equality for all. Building a more just and equitable community takes all of us, so YWCA wants to offer community members the opportunity to run the race against racism together. The 2025 Race for Equality theme is "Until Justice Just Is". 

The 2025 Race for Equality will take place on Saturday, April 26th on Purdue Fort Wayne's campus with a 5K start time of 9:00 AM and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk start time of 9:15 AM. We are also bringing back the Pup Run for both distances this year! The event is professionally timed and includes awards by age and gender.
