2026 GCR Thanksgiving 5K | 1 Mile | Kids 1K & 100 Yard Dash Race Information

<p><strong>GCR is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 13th Annual GCR Thanksgiving Race this year on Thanksgiving!!</strong></p> <p><strong>Pre-Race Packet Pick Up - RECOMMENDED!<br /></strong>Tuesday 11/24 &amp; Wednesday 11/25 &#64; Naples on the Run (20 10th St. S. Naples, FL 34102)<br />Hours - 10AM-5PM</p> <p><strong>Race Day Packet Pick Up - Race day starting at 6AM - NOT RECOMMENDED<br /></strong>Please arrive no later than 6:00am if you have not yet gotten your race number and shirt.<br />You may Pick up your packet at the race ONLY from 6:00am-7:25am. <br />NO DAY OF REGISTRATION.</p> <p><br />Walkers are welcome for both the 1 mile walk and the 5K. Come one, come all!</p> <p>Our kids races are free, <em>but do NOT include a shirt</em>!  A parent must sign them up here in order to agree to the waiver. Medals are given to our kids, but likely a medal from a past Thanksgiving Day GCR race. </p> <p>This beautiful course will start on 5th Avenue &amp; wind through downtown Naples!! <br />Plenty of FREE parking (multiple 4 story parking garages within 200m of packet pickup). <br />Shirts to all paid participants!<br />Race Medals to all finishers!</p> <p>Age Group Awards 3 Deep<br />-Staged from Cambier Park<br /><br /></p> <p>This race benefits:<br />St. Matthew&#39;s House and our Youth Development/ Scholarship Fund. <br />We are collecting canned goods for St. Matthew&#39;s House. Please bring your non-perishable items to packet pick-up or to the registration area on the day of the race.</p> <p>This run/walk will be a GREAT way to start your Thanksgiving weekend!</p> <p>Course open for 90 minutes</p>
