2025 Youth Cross Country Race Information

<p>When: August 11th – Oct 8th</p> <p>Who: Grades 1st – 8th</p> <p>Practice –</p> <p>Goal is to have kids come to 2 of the 3 practices below, whatever best fits their schedule.</p> <p>Practice time is 6:15-7:30<br />Wednesdays, Silver Springs Park <br />5238 Young Rd, Stow, OH 44224 (Can also be accessed from Stow Road and head to the back parking lot)</p> <p>Thursdays, Goodyear Heights Metro Park<br />2077 Newton St, Akron, Oh 44305</p> <p><br />Fridays, Virginia Kendall Ledges<br />405 Truxell Rd, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Peninsula, OH 44264-9734</p> <p><br />Meets are Sunday at various locations, first race at 2 p.m. </p> <p>All-Star Division for individuals with special needs and their siblings.<br />Practice on Thursdays at the Chapel in Green at 6:30-7:30 pm. Practice will start on Aug. 7th and run thru Oct 2nd.  For more info: contact Jarrod McCleary &#64;  jarrod.mccleary&#64;gmail.com</p> <p><br />Races: Sunday afternoons in Akron, Tallmadge, Springfield, Jackson, Streetsboro, Saturday Sept 9th at Walsh Jesuit High School</p> <p>Distances: 400 meters(fun run 5-6 year olds) 1 mile (8 years old and under),</p> <p>1.5 mile (lower division - 9-10 Years old)  1.5 mile (upper division - 11 and up) </p> <p>Why: A fun introduction to the sport of running. A runner can run up a division<br />Division IV  – 8 an under 1 mile                                        4.
