2025 Veterans & Military Council 5k Race Information

<h5 style="text-align:left"><span style="color:#000000">Join us for our annual 5K Ruck ‘n Walk/Run to honor veterans during Veterans Appreciation Week. Join Lehigh Valley colleges, universities, businesses and community members as we Ruck OR Run/Walk to recognize and honor all veterans throughout the Lehigh Valley. </span></h5> <h5 style="text-align:left"><span style="color:#000000">Offering an in-person race with 5K Ruck and Walk/Run options in addition to a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk option*. The course is an off road grass course through the scenic Bicentennial park. </span></h5> <h5><span style="color:#000000"><b>Can my dog run with me?</b><br /></span></h5> <h5><span style="color:#000000">As much as we love dogs they are not allowed to run our races. Please keep your pup at home.</span><span style="color:#000000"></span></h5> <h5> </h5> <h5 style="text-align:left"><span style="color:#000000">Participants who register and make a $30 minimum donation, <b>by November 8</b>, will have the option of an event giveaway at the event.</span></h5> <h5 style="text-align:left"><span style="color:#000000"><b>In Person Race Details:</b></span></h5> <ul style="text-align:left"><li> <h5><span style="color:#000000">Check-in &amp; Race Day Registration: 8 AM-9 AM**</span></h5> </li><li> <h5><span style="color:#000000">5K begins promptly at 9 AM </span></h5> </li><li> <h5><span style="color:#000000">1 mile Fun Run/Walk begins at 9:45 AM </span></h5> </li><li> <h5><span style="color:#000000">Awards Presentation: 10:30 AM</span></h5> </li></ul> <h5 style="text-align:left"><span style="color:#000000"><b>Age Groups:</b> Each race option (Ruck and Walk/Run) will include seven (7) age groups. Ruckers are strongly encouraged to carry a minimum 10% of their body weight.
