2025 Parkland Dash

The Parkland Dash is Parkland's annual race consisting of 5k, 5 mile, and 1 mile run options.  Each year, the Dash supports our local public schools, along with an annually selected beneficiary. This year, proceeds from the Dash will benefit Run 4 Beigel, an initiative of the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Fund is dedicated to supporting at-risk and underserved children impacted by gun violence by providing scholarships for summer sleep-away camps, giving them a safe and nurturing environment to heal, grow, and thrive. 

Founded in memory of Scott J. Beigel, a beloved teacher and cross-country coach who lost his life protecting students during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas tragedy, the organization honors his legacy by creating life-changing opportunities. The Fund empowers youth by removing barriers and opening doors to confidence, resilience, and hope.
