<h2 style="text-align:center"><b><i>Black Dog Road Race 5K - 10K - Kids Fun Run</i></b></h2> <p><i>The Legend of the Hanging Hills Black Dog has been around for over 100 years. </i><i>A mysterious black dog that has been spotted countless times and is said to bring good luck, bad luck, and even death! The Black Dog awaits</i><i></i><i></i></p> <p><span style="color:#e67e23"><b>Join us this Halloween weekend at Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT for the return of the Black Dog Road Race!</b></span></p> <p><b>5K:</b> An out and back course that runs along the beautiful Merimere Reservoir. It has some rolling hills throughout the course! </p> <p><b><span style="color:#e67e23">10K: </span><span style="color:#000000">One of the most challenging 10K&#39;s in Connecticut! </span></b>6.2 miles, out and back from Hubbard Park to Castle Craig! Over 750 ft of elevation in the first 3.1 miles!</p> <p><b>Free Kids Fun Run: </b>Kids will run, jog, and walk the small loop (road) around the playscape and main parking lot area. About 4/10ths of a mile in distance. </p> <p> </p> <h5><span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#e67e23"><i><b>Running for a Purpose and Our Community </b></i></span></h5> <p>Every year, our race helps benefit local programs in our area.
