10th Antioch Rotary Club Bunny Hop 5K a.k.a. Antioch Rotary BunnyHop "X" Race Information

Next year we invite participants to run like the Hare or pace yourself steady to victory like the Tortoise. Participants will get a Finisher&#39;s Medal and are guaranteed a Bunny Hop T-Shirt if you register before Saturday, March 14, 2026.  Registration will open in October, 2025. If you like to be part of community video please  email your picture to rdeloso&#64;yahoo.com.  Like us and see up to date notices on Facebook &#64;AntiochBunnyHop5K</p> <p><strong>Important Notes:</strong></p> <p>(1) <strong>Packet Pick up will be at Fleet Feet Sports in Brentwood on Friday, April 3rd from 3-7pm.</strong> There will also be same-day Packet Pick-up on Saturday, April 4th from 7:15 - 8:25 a.m. Beat the confusion &amp; crowds on Saturday by passing by Fleet Feet Sports on Friday!</p> <p>(2) <strong>This 5K Fun Run is a timed event. Accurate timing is provided by the E-Tag attached on the back of your Race Bib - your time starts when you cross the Start Line Sensor and you finish when you cross the Finish Line Sensor. Race Timing will be provided by Ford Timing.  </strong></p> <p>All Finishers will receive a BunnyHop 5K Medal. First Place Overall in Men&#39;s &amp; Women&#39;s will receive a plaque, and a Gift Card. </p> <p>Age Group Medals will go to the Top 3 in each of these Age Groups: 9 and under,<br />10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, &amp; 70 and up.</p> <p><strong>AWARDS CEREMONY will take place after the KIDS KWIK DASH &amp; EASTER EGG HUNT approximately 11:10am</strong></p> <p>(3) The 5K Course is entirely within Corteva Wetlands Preserve and the surface is mostly gravel and grass paths. Because of this we do not recommend bringing strollers or wagons unless you are prepared to carry these over some barriers and over the uneven terrain.</p> <p>(4) We love our furry friends too, but we do not advise that you bring dogs to this fun run for safety reasons.</p> <p>(5) <strong>The Bunny Hop Start Line is about 3/4 mile from the Antioch Marina Festival/Parking Area - please plan on a 20–30-minute nature walk! Plan on arriving at the Antioch Marina by 8:00 a.m. - there will be plenty of Parking and Porta Potties. Start Time will be approximately 9:00am</strong></p> <p>(6) This Race will happen Rain or Shine! </p> <p>(7) <strong>For Runners of Antioch Unified School District - please arrive at the Antioch Marina by 7:30am to pick up your Race Bibs and GoodyBags - There will be a special area for AUSD-sponsored Runners.</strong></p> <p>(8) Because of the size of the Event, we will not have a &#34;Bag Drop&#34;</p> <p>(9) The KIDS KWIK DASH will take place at the Antioch Marina Parking Lot at approximately 10:30am</p> <p>(10) The Easter Egg Hunt will follow the Kids Kwik Dash</p> <p>The Rotary Club of Antioch is a non-profit volunteer civic organization servicing the local community for over 75 years. Some of the projects include Girls Empowerment Project, Boys King Conference, Community Beautification, and Assisting Seniors in the Community with home repairs.  The Bunny Hop 5k proceeds will directly go toward scholarships at the local high schools.
